Tina Rauter aka Doerty The Turner

Tina found her way into the Urban Dance culture through House Dance. She fell in love with the dance and the music. She started to make her research and travelled to New York City and Paris where she connected with Marjory Smart, Sekou, Rabah, Edson Guiu, Archie Burnett and Bravo Lafortune, who are her mentors. Tina feels really related to African & Carribbean dance styles like Azonto, Dancehall, Congolese dances, Afro House, Salsa or Merengue. Voguing has a special meaning to her because it allows her to be a confident performer, a strong, beautiful and powerful being. Through Vogue she discovered her passion for fashion & costume designs - she likes to mix them into her performing art. Together with "Supersoulme", Tina created a plattfrom called "HOUSEhalt" - it connects House music & dance lovers, parties, cultural exchange and training session.
