Rock Da Floor Kids Dance Battles is a series of kid's Hip Hop dance competitions. The battles will be held at different participating facilities in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Rock Da Floor Kids Dance Battles main focus is to help develop the progression, self esteem, artistic expression and sportsmanship of each rising new dancer. The Battles will also provide a professional and encouraging environment in which students of all ages and levels can attend. Children are encouraged to challenge their versatility and creativity.
Founded by renowned dancer, NYC pioneer bgirl, Honey Rockwell, Rock Da Floor Kids Dance Battles is a family fun event open to kids of all ages and all skill levels.

Footwork: Sweeps, 6 Steps, CC or variations of shuffles
Power: Swipes
Freezes: Handstand, Baby Freeze, Bridge
Notes: Introduction of Breakin'
Breaking Intermediate
Experience: 2-3 years
Top Rock: Kick Cross, Indian Step, Salsa Step, Charlie, Rocking
Transitions: Corkscrews, Cartwheels, Squat Drop, Spin Down, Back HandSpring, Front Hand Swing
Footwork: Sweeps, 6 Steps, CC or variations of shuffles, Frosty Freeze, Around the World
Power: Swipes, Back Spin, 1 Windmill, 1 Flare, 1 Headspin
Freezes: Handstand, Baby Freeze, Bridge, Turtle, Chair
Breaking Advanced
Experience: 3-4 years
Top Rock: Can execute effective rhythm and style.
Transitions: Clean connections from one move to the next.
Footwork: Can combine more than one footwork technique. Combos have a clean execution of a combo from beginning to end.
Power: More than one rotation in any of the following: Flare, Windmills, Backspins, Head spin, Air Flare or Acro.
Freezes: Stack more than 1 freeze without falling.
Note: Proficient in at least one sylte whether it be execution of power moves or style footwork.
