Outbreak Europe 2016

Outbreak Europe started in 2010 as the first official European qualifier for the World Finals of Outbreak that was founded by the Unique Styles Crew in 2003 in Florida, USA. Annually, Outbreak Europe in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia brings together Hip Hop Family from all the World’s continents to celebrate Hip Hop culture and spirit. After Outbreak was retired in USA in 2013, Outbreak Europe became the only Outbreak event in the world, thus making all the battle championships, world championships.

Last year, Outbreak Europe was visited by 1300 bboys & bgirls and 1400 public visitors from over 70 countries. We are grateful for your support for the past six years and we are working really hard to make the 2016 edition even better.

Outside of the party like-atmosphere of music and cyphers going on throughout the entire event, Outbreak Europe this year will host 5 different competitions. With thousands of euros on the line, these battles tend to be high energy, high skill competitions known to push bboys and bgirls to the edge. Entering in these battles is considered by many to be a life experience but most important of all, it’s fun! Below are the battle categories.

2vs2 Bboy Battle

Partner up with a crew member or a friend and enter into the 2vs2 Battles for cash & prizes. The battles begin with a preliminary showcase round in which each duo will showcase their skills to be picked by our judges. Following this, a top 16 bracket will be created and only one team will come out as the 2 vs 2 Champs. Due to the nature of the event, there is no pre-registration for the battles. Please show up on Day 1 to register.

1vs1 Undisputed Battle

Outbreak Europe is a proud partner in the World Bboy Series and will be hosting a 1vs1 for a spot in the main event and the ultimate finals, called UNDISPUTED. The winner of this one will be crowned as the World Champion of the Outbreak Europe 1vs1 and receive paid trip to enter in the competition for the ultime World Championship. 1vs1 BGirl Battle

Outbreak has been known to have one of the illest B-Girl competitions in the world. The B-Girl battles will also begin with a preliminary showcase round in which a Top 8 bracket will be chosen.

Cypher Kings

At Outbreak Europe, you get not only to cypher all day long, but you can also win a prize for doing so! Mystery judges will be watching the cyphers and pick crews that have been putting work into the floors on Day 1 AND Day 2 to advance to final cypher battle. Winners will receive cash and prizes. ATTENTION: This year in CREW edition. Top crews will be selected to advance into one final cypher battle.

Rep Your Country

One of the most anticipated events of Outbreak Europe is the Rep Your Country Crew Battles, which takes place inside the Europa Shopping Center. The battles start after a preliminary showcase round and a Top 8 bracket will be created by the judges. Each country can have as many dancers on each side and will only be limited by a battle clock. Winners of the Rep Your Country battles will take home 1500 Euros in cash and 1500 Euros in prizes. Don’t forget your country flag!

1vs1 Kids Battle

This year, we continue with the Kids Battle to look after the new upcoming generation. There will be one category 1vs1 of 15 years old kids and under. We will specify time and location soon. There is no registration fee if you hold the Outbreak Europe festival ticket. If you don’t have the Outbreak Europe ticket and don’t plan to visit the festival during the weekend, there will be a registration fee of 6 Euros per competitor.
