Buenos Aires 2018 welcomes 12 B-Boys and 12 B-Girls from around the world at the Youth Olympic Games in Argentina. WDSF presents "Breaking for Gold" the official tournament in Breaking for winning an olympic Bronze, Silver or Gold Medal. This year’s YOG will take place from 6-18 October in the Argentine capital. The breaking competition will take place on October 7, 8, 10 and 11 and feature individual and mixed-team battles. A high-profile panel of judges has been assembled for the YOG that includes Storm, Crazy Legs, Moy, Mounir, Narumi, AT, and Renegade. MC’ing the event will be Mario Bee, with DJ Fleg and DJ Lean Rock providing the beats.

COMPETITION FORMAT:

DAY1 – 1VS1 B-BOYS/B-GIRLS
• Preliminary Phase (Round Robin)
• each athlete/dancer has 3 battles
• each battle has 2 rounds
• lower seeded athletes have to start
• win or loose a battle doesn't matter
• it's all about collecting rounds & votes
• all rounds & votes collected into a Ranking
• the TOP8 advance to the Knock-Out

DAY2 – 1VS1 B-BOYS/B-GIRLS
• TOP8 Knock-Out Rounds
• each battle has 4 rounds
• after 2 rounds is a 90 sec break
• red side starts the first 2 rounds
• blue side starts the second 2 rounds
• in case of a TIE one additional round

DAY4 – 2VS2 MIXED TEAM
