After b-boy Issei Shigeyuki Nakarai aka Shigekix is the youngest breaker from Japan who can celebrate triumphant success already in his teenage years. In 2017 Shigekix at age fifteen was the youngest dancer who had ever been invited to the Red Bull BC One, where he even reached the semi final. His list of won international battles is long thus it was no surprise that the 16-year-old achieved the first place in all qualification rounds for the Buenos Aires 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games.
Inspired by his sister Shigekix started breaking at the age of seven in the year 2009. The athlete from Osaka is a member of the `K.A.K.B.´ and the `BBoy World Asia´ crew and very much known for his explosive energy.
However, before the young Japanese flies to Buenos Aires, he first travels to the other side of the globe: Just one week before the beginning of the Olympic competitions Shigekix competes in the Last Chance Cypher for the Red Bull BC One World Final in Zurich (Switzerland). His great goal - winning one day this world-prestigious battle - might soon be within Shigekix’s reach.
