Brahim Bouchelaghem was born in 1972 in Roubaix. In 1984, he discovered the arts of hip hop and quickly became involved in numerous creations, including Fantasia and Point de chute, under the direction of Farid Berki. This was followed by a collaboration with Mourad Merzouki in 1998, where he took on the role of trainer and assistant choreographer through the Mekech Mouchkin project. In 2004, a collaboration was born between Brahim and Kader Attou, with whom he created his first show Zarbhat, a tribute to his father, an ode to his love for him. In a series of projects with numerous companies and choreographers, Brahim Bouchelaghem founded his own company Zahrbat in 2005, the eponymous name referring to his first creation. The term "zahrbat" refers to the choreographer's dynamic personality. From then on, Brahim Bouchelaghem's choreographic work continued, until today.
