and8 Judge bei The Dance in Zürich!

Entwickler Dominik Fahr und and8 Partner Patrick Grigo führen gemeinsam mit Niels Robitzky aka Storm und Nicole Binggeli von NoEasyProps die brandneue Shift-Matrix beim größte Schweizer Tanzevent "The Dance" ein und überzeugen durch Funktionalität und technische Raffinesse.Keine leichte Aufgabe hatte das Team von and8, um das Bewertungssystem and8 Judge für den Mega-Event "The Dance" vorzubereiten. Hier stand die Umsetzung der neuartigen Shift-Matrix, entwickelt von Storm in Zusammenarbeit mit Buddha Stretch und Nicole von NoEasyProps, auf dem Plan, die für "The Dance" zusätzlich noch in einen Spezialfall umprogrammiert werden musste. Da die Jury aus insgesamt 4 technischen Juroren (den Tanzprofis) und 3 Lifestyle Juroren (den Prominenten) bestand, erhielten die 4 Tanzprofis sozusagen doppeltes Stimmrecht und somit einen Faktor von 200% im Vergleich zu den Lifestyle Judges mit 100%. Nur so war es möglich eine reale und tanzorientierte Bewertung zu vollziehen.
Eine weitere Herausforderung stellte die Verwendung der Samsung Tablets dar, die für diesen Einsatz speziell umgerüstet und aufgrund der Anwendung mit einem Tastenschutz versehen werden mussten. Zudem wurde eine kabelgebundene Lösung entwickelt um im Falle einer nicht störungsfreien WLAN-Verbindung trotzdem unterbrechungsfrei werten zu können. Dies war jedoch nicht notwendig, da die kabellose Variante einwandfrei funktionierte. Der Battlebaum (Battletree) oder die Ergebnissansicht konnten ebenfalls problemlos in den Livestream und auf den LED-Walls im Hallenstadion eingebunden werden und bescherrten zu jeder Zeit Einblick ins Geschehen.
Alles in allem blicken die Macher von and8 Judge auf ein erfolgreiches Wochenende in Zürich zurück und konnten dadurch wieder einmal unter Beweis stellen, wie flexibel und lösungsorientiert das System and8 Judge arbeitet. Ein großes Dankeschön geht hier an NoEasyProps, an das Team von Imaculix, allen voran Andy Bohli, an die Organisation von "The Dance" und natürlich an die Judges Storm, Salah, Betty Style, Burim, Carmen, Angelina und Russel.
