In der Online-Video-Qualifikation war Anastasia Solovjova die einzige Teilnehmerin aus Lettland und bekam dadurch die Qualifikation für das Turnier in Essen, wo sie den zwölften Platz im Gesamtranking erreichte. Durch die YOG-Regelung, die festlegt, dass pro Kontinent mindestens ein B-Girl in die nächste Runde kommen muss, pro Land aber nur ein B-Girl gewählt werden darf, erwarb Anastasia mit Platz 16 beim World Championship in Kawasaki die Qualifikation für die Buenos Aires 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games, da einige Konkurrentinnen aus Japan, Korea, Frankreich und Russland genau aufgrund dieser Regelung wegfielen.
Es war die Riga Jam im Mai 2012, die Anastasias Begeisterung weckte und ihr den Impuls gab selbst mit dem Breaking anzufangen. Heute ist die aus Riga stammende Tänzerin Mitglied der `Circle Dance´ und der `Camelot Crew´, von deren Tänzern sie, wie sie erzählt, am meisten lernen konnte. Powermoves sind im Breaking Anastasias stärkste Seite und dieses Können bestrebt sie weiterhin beständig auszubauen, zu steigern und zu verbessern.
Dass die Lettländerin eine große Willenskraft hat, beweist als sie im Jahr 2014 mehrere Wochen lang mit einem gebrochenen Arm trainieren musste. Eine Pause kam für Anastasia jedoch nicht infrage, denn Training ist für sie der oberste Punkt auf dem Tagesplan.
