Alessandra Cortesia aka B-Girl Lexy wurde am 20. September 2000 in Vittorio Veneto, einer kleinen italienischen Stadt in der Provinz Treviso, geboren und begann im Alter von zwölf Jahren zu tanzen.
Lexys tänzerische Entwicklung bekam den größten Einfluss durch ihre Crew `Street Warriors´ sowie durch viele B-Girls. Als Schülerin von Giuseppe di Mauro aka Kacyo, Davide Fasanelli aka Fasa und Simone Tomasella aka Thomas belegte Lexy den ersten Platz im nationalen Ranking in der Online-Video-Qualifikation und landete beim World Championship in Kawasaki auf Platz 7. In Buenos Aires sieht die Italienerin eine große Chance sich einen Namen in der internationalen Szene zu machen und ihre Fähigkeiten einem weltweiten Publikum zu präsentieren.
Training ist der wichtigste Aspekt in Lexys Leben und gehört zum täglichen Programm. Egal ob Breaking oder Fitnessstudio - Lexy liebt es einfach sich zu bewegen und das zu tun, was ihr am meisten Spaß bereitet.
Akkurates Footwork, geschliffene Übergänge und ausgeprägtes Gefühl für Musik - darin liegt das tänzerische Vermögen der zielstrebigen Olympiateilnehmerin.
`Dance, do what you love and have always fun´ mit diesem Ideal tritt Lexy am 7. Oktober als Vertreterin für Italien in die Battle-Runden bei den Buenos Aires 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games.
