Er ist einer der aussergewöhnlichsten Athleten der Schweiz. Wenn nicht gar weltweit: Walter Petrongolo, a.k.a. Crazy oder Crazy-One. Mitglied der legendären Crazy Force Crew aus Luzern. Spricht man von Athleten, sind meist Sprinter, Fussballer oder andere Breitensportler damit gemeint. Crazy ist aber Breakdancer. Und “aussergewöhnlich” deshalb, weil er in seinem bereits forteschrittenen Alter immer noch mit der Weltelite mithält.
Seit 1983 ist Walter Petrongolo aka Crazy als B-Boy aktiv und kennt die Szene so präzise wie nur wenige es tun. Im Jahr 1986 gründete der schweizerische Tänzer die legendäre Crazy Force Crew, mit der er sich nicht nur in der Schweiz sondern auch in ganz Europa einen ganz großen Namen machte. Zusammen mit seiner Crew als auch im Solo gewann er viele Battles und Meisterschaften in Europa und in den USA. Bühnenshows und TV Auftritte weltweit, bei denen er immer in erster Reihe mitmischt, gehören seit 1987 zu seinem Leben als Tänzer und seit 1996 wird er auch als kompetenter Juror bei nationalen und internationalen Meisterschaften geschätzt. Seit Beginn seiner Karriere im Jahr 1983, die er im Teenageralter begann, ist Crazy ein ambitionierter Repräsentant der Hip Hop Kultur und Botschafter der ursprünglichen Ideologie, die darauf bedacht ist, Menschen aus allen Teilen der Welt mit Hilfe einer kreativen Schaffenskraft zusammenzubringen.
